Pusa Basmati 1121 is the grain that made Indian basmati famous in the Gulf. Each kernel is long and needle-slender raw, then stretches in the pot into separate, fluffy strands of remarkable length.
We mill it raw, steamed, and as white or golden sella, and age every lot before milling so it cooks true and holds its shape through a long dum.
