Inside our mill

Our mill in Karnal takes paddy from the field to a sealed export container in one continuous line. Imported cleaning, milling and sorting machines do the careful work, RO-purified water keeps the aroma intact, and our own laboratory signs off every lot.

The process, stage by stage

Paddy receiving

Paddy arrives from our partner farms in tractor-trolleys and trucks. Every load is sampled at the gate for variety, moisture and maturity before it is weighed and accepted.

Cleaning

Pre-cleaners, destoners and magnets take out straw, dust, stones and metal before the grain touches any other machine.

Parboiling & drying

For steam and sella rice, cleaned paddy is soaked and steamed in RO-purified water, then dried slowly at controlled temperatures. The grain sets firm and keeps its natural aroma.

Milling

Rubber-roll huskers lift the husk away gently. Whiteners and silky polishers then take the bran off in stages, so each grain is polished without cracking.

Grading

Length graders and sieves separate full-length grains from brokens and small grains, so every lot matches the grade on the contract.

Sortex colour sorting

Optical colour sorters inspect every grain with cameras and reject anything discoloured, chalky, damaged or foreign with a puff of air.

Quality control

Our laboratory tests every lot for moisture, whiteness, grain length and broken percentage, and cooks a sample, before it is cleared for packing.

Packaging

Automatic weighing, filling and sealing machines pack each bag to the gram, and every pack passes a metal detector before it is palletised.

Container loading

Containers are inspected, lined and loaded under supervision, with desiccants and fumigation as the destination requires. Every stuffing is photographed before the seal goes on.
